I know intimately the storm of rage and disbelief
attacking the windows of my soul.
Yet, I step bravely, unprotected
into the daily maelstrom,
to continue the search.
Yes! I have a choice.
We all have a choice (as Hamlet so succinctly declared)
"To be, or not to be..."
And that makes me human.
