I'm a Birdwatcher

It is somewhat comforting to know that at this moment, birds all around the world are carrying on as they always have. The Bald Eagle in BC waits to lay the first egg, the Barn Owl in California is losing sleep over the babes fussing under her lovely feathers, the Osprey nest in Scotland is still under snow so she might get a late start this year, the Peregrine Falcon in Philly has begun her sit-in.
When I have all four nests before me at once, the sounds bring Lola, my cat, to the desk looking for the birds.  Sorry, no prey here. Just the birds of prey out there.
