Invention

I invented you to walk with me
By the canal that connects
     the sun and the moon.
We watch boats coming home
And taste their adventures
     on the night air.
I conjure crystal palaces,
     And breath deeply
The spirit of invention.

Beautiful. I expect to see cormorants perching up there in that golden tree! Love, S.
